Superior Hardwoods and Millwork is located on the south of Missoula, Montana, just off US Highway 93 South, adjacent to the Bitterroot River.  Look for our 10,000 square foot, temperature controlled warehouse, the 4000 square foot mill shop and our more than 11 acres of reclaimed material.  While touring these sites, conjure the maple and birch forests near Lake Superior and Michigan's upper peninsula in the mid 1970's.  It's there that company founder and president John Medlinger learned the logging operation and how to mill raw logs into finished lumber.  By shipping the milled hardwoods to Montana's lumberyards and cabinet shops, he became the first wholesale hardwood company to serve the "treasure" state. Today, his millwork facility and warehouse trades in antique wood all across the country from its base in Missoula.
