Superior Hardwoods & Millwork specializes in hand-hewn timbers (often called hand-hewn beams) and other reclaimed wood products, like reclaimed barn wood and antique flooring.

From our Missoula Montana mill site on the banks of the Bitterroot River, we offer a wide reserve of hand-hewn timbers, or hewn beams, and other special old wood treasures. All of our timbers are wood salvage from across the USA. Most hand-hewn timbers are hand-hewn on all four sides; however, some are hand-hewn on two sides with log edges.

We also have a superior selection of antique fir timbers. Our "as is" fir timbers have a natural aged appearance and are either rough sawn or surfaced.
